Clean up Your Space

It seems that when you take on more tasks that the clutter level can get larger. When we work at a desk or in a specific location we end up having our little space. This is the space where we spend most of our time getting our tasks done. The design and layout of this area should be well thought out and set up properly since so much time is spent there. There are some great books available for you to read and they go through specific steps to follow. It has to do with how you funnel the information once it arrives in your space. If you are working on something where you get daily papers that need to be reviewed, you could just pile them up in a big stack, or you could funnel them into a specific place that is only for that specific thing. This is important for the physical things that you touch and takes up space, but this also applies for digital information that you can’t touch; so when you think about this make sure to think about the information that is electronic.

With a clean space people will look at you in a light where you have your life in order, it could open up some opportunities for you because people could trust you more. Even if your mind is cluttered up, the first step could be to tighten up your work area. Put your computer in one space, your pens in another, you could put your acceletrim bottle in the corner, your file cabinet underneath your desk, and a picture of your husband right next to your monitor. Clean up your space and your life will get easier to manage.
